The Comox Valley Writers Society (CVWS) meets on the third Thursday of each month from September to June, at the Bayside Café at #5 – 2760 Cliffe Ave. (across from the Driftwood Mall). Time: 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Agenda: a brief business meeting, including any recent successes from our Members, followed by our Guest Speaker and member readings. Guests are welcome to attend.
Small Writing Groups
Limited to CVWS members only, a few small groups have been formed among the membership. They meet monthly to read and critique each others work, providing support and encouragement in everyone’s writing endeavours.
Fourth Thursday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (This event is via Zoom.)
This event is for CVWS members who would like to share their current work with a supportive audience. Writing projects in all genres are appreciated. Also a wonderful venue through which to practice public speaking skills.
