Next CVWS mtg – Jan 17, 2019

The next monthly meeting of the Comox Valley Writers Society is on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the library at Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School, 1551 Lerwick Rd, Courtenay.

Guest Speaker: Jean Sarrazin, NIC Elder College instructor. Jean will give a presentation on Audio books vs Podcasting: Which is the better medium for practicality and posterity?

Everyone is welcome. Meeting begins at 7 p.m.

All the fun and festivities start on Friday evening, Jan. 25 at 6:30 in the Stan Hagen Theatre. Terry Jordan, our guest speaker from December (and the Haig-Brown writer-in-residence) will be presenting and giving a reading. Also, the winner of the NIC 3-hour writing contest held on Nov. 18, Alyssa Le Fort, will be reading her winning entry.

Everyone is welcome! Admission is free and refreshments will be served afterwards.
